Seeking engineers with strong foundation in physics-based modeling, simulation, and computational analysis, paired with solid programming skills and a working knowledge of AI/ML. This person will develop digital models of complex systems, run simulations, and explore intelligent modeling or optimization methods using machine learning.
In this role you will design, develop, integrate, modify and maintain customized simulations for space vehicle applications using software engineering best practices and standards. You will participate in the full life cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
This position can be filled as a Principal (level 3) or a Sr Principal (level 4) depending on experience.

Salary Range: $133,500.00 - $200,300.00Salary Range 2: $166,200.00 - $249,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
