The Impact of the Manager, Business Applications - Post Sales to Coupa:
 
The Manager, Business Applications - Post Sales role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes and data analysis.  They will act as the product owner for the post sales technologies and processes.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
 
This role will be relied upon to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform, focusing on our post sales teams and processes.  This includes our professional services team, customer value team and customer support team.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing business applications team
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize team membersโ€™ achievements
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, as well as ancillary tools within the companyโ€™s applications ecosystem
  • Partner with the business to identify opportunities to optimize both business and technical processes and increase efficiency
  • Leverage data to generate insights and inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards
  • Act as an SME in your technical area and coach the team when it comes to solution design and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide timely updates

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 2+ years of experience running a business applications team
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform, including Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
  • Proven experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, etc.) is a plus
